A monolithic stone water table, located in the Western Courtyard Garden part of the Aldgate Place development

A monolithic stone water table, 9.9m long x 1.0m wide x 0.5 m high, located in the Western Courtyard Garden part of the Aldgate Place development.

Water is delivered to the top of the table through a drilled manifold located below granite cladding.

Water flows over the front face of the granite into a lower trough with a water width and depth of 0.5m x 60mm respectively.

From the trough the water flows through two letter box weirs and pipes to a water holding tank located in the basement plantroom. A water return straining system is incorporated in the holding tank.
