Stamford Park

<< Back to portfolio

The design concept consists of an obovate leaf shape hard landscaped performance space set adjacent to the children’s playground within the main park.

The feature display is created by five rows of jets dissecting the long axis of the leaf shape. Water from 29 display jets falls on to the hard landscaped surface and flows over the performance area to a stainless steel grill and collection sump at the lower end of the feature.

The hard landscaping within the performance space incorporates falls to contain the water and ensure it flows towards the collection sump.

An alternate rows of jets allows alternate groups of rows to rise and fall separately. The most western jet on each row runs independently from all the others to create increased animation of the overall display.
