Buckhold Road Entrance

Featuring three external honed stone monoliths over which water runs offering a stunning entrance to the new development.

Each monolith is illuminated by LED strips. During the evening time the LED lights illuminate the water as it passes over the stone and brings a whole new aspect to the feature to that of the daytime.

Water flowing over three external stone monoliths creates a tranquil, peaceful and cooling environment.

To further enhance the feature, each monolith is illuminated by LED strips. During the evening time the LED lights illuminate the water as it passes over the stone and brings a whole new aspect to the feature to that of the daytime.

There is also a misting system to create mist around the stainless steel water wall.

An external stone water table with water delivered to the top and introduced through gaps incorporated in the stone finish. The water flow covers the stone in a film of water enhancing the stone surface and providing a strong aural effect as the water flows down the table walls and into the collection channels surrounding the table.

The action of the water flowing over the top edges appears to pull the surface of the water tight therefore increasing the reflective qualities on the surface of the table.

The water features are shallow mirror pools located either side of the main building entrance.

Water flows into the pools through sumps from where it flows over the pool weir edges and into below paving level troughs.

A monolithic stone water table, 9.9m long x 1.0m wide x 0.5 m high, located in the Western Courtyard Garden part of the Aldgate Place development.

Water is delivered to the top of the table through a drilled manifold located below granite cladding.

Water flows over the front face of the granite into a lower trough with a water width and depth of 0.5m x 60mm respectively.

From the trough the water flows through two letter box weirs and pipes to a water holding tank located in the basement plantroom. A water return straining system is incorporated in the holding tank.

As part of the Lots Road development there are two reflective water tables.

The table top features consist of two raised granite clad structure, each 4m long x 1m wide x 0.7m high with peripheral white LED lighting.

The tables have water delivered to the top and introduced through gaps incorporated in the granite finishes.  The water flow covers the granite in a film of water approximately 6mm thick, enhancing the surface and providing a strong aural effect as the water flows down the table walls and into the collection channels below.  The action of the water flowing over the top edges appears to pull the surface of the water tight therefore increasing the reflective qualities on the surface of the table.

The water feature is constructed in a landscaped area which offers a pleasant space where residents and visitors can stroll through, or sit and relax while enjoying the cooling environment of  a decorative water feature.

The bubbler feature is built into a bench structure and consists of 3 bubbler jets which have a return for the water to fall into.

Each bubbler jet has a white light LED at the side of it to illuminate the display.

The bubbler on and off times are controlled via timers in the control panel which is located in a plant room.
