Salt Marsh Pool

The water feature is named ‘The Saltmarsh Pool’ which is located in a paved area.

The layout is based on the saltmarsh creeks found on the Essex coast and is a series of complex curved units with water flowing gently through a series of channels and pools.

Water enters the pool from two inlet positions which are designed to minimise visible water turbulence as the intended effect is for a gentle flow of shallow water through the pools and channels to the outlet. The water travels down over a series of four stepped levels with a small step down between each.

The feature on and off times are controlled via timers in the control panel which is located in a plant room in the basement area.
