A skulk of playful foxes!

A distinctive water feature to a state of the art sports facility, which offers a unique back drop.

Prominently sited to the forefront of the entrance to Leicester City FC Training Ground visitors are welcomed with an authentic visual impression of a wildlife scene that is symbolic of the club’s nickname, The Foxes, denoted from Leicestershire’s foxes and fox hunting history.

The spectacular scene, designed by sculptor Juliet Cursham, depicts a skulk of playfully animated foxes that are life-like and frozen in time as they clamber over rocks and splash around in a pool.  In the centre, a trio of foxes are pursuing a fish that is leaping out of the water.  The bronze foxes and fish are given life and movement by the playing water produced by a number of strategically placed water jets, and the still, large pool serves as a grand stage for their activities.

At dusk, advantageously placed LED lighting around the pool’s edge and submerged in the water shows the intricate workmanship, texture, and colour of the bronze sculptures, heightening the water feature’s visual intrigue and drama.
