One Thames City Courtyard

Subterranean, contemporary water features

Two water features can be found in the West Courtyard area, a modern area that offers a stunning and calming focal point for residents and visitors to enjoy.

Bringing a sense of grandeur to the space, a towering wall of water, approximately 40m in length and 7m high in the centre, transforms an otherwise blank retaining wall, bringing intriguing movement and sound to the scene.

A circular reflective mirror pool feature adds a different, relaxing dynamic to the water wall’s cascading water by being located in the middle of the area on the ground. The paving is transformed when filled with water, it changes, attracting attention to minute surface ripples drawn across the surface and the sky above, which is reflected in the pool.
